What the valuation is

The valuation tool produces an automated, preliminary range by applying an industry earnings multiple to the figures you enter. It is provided free of charge for general information.

What it is not

• This is a preliminary, automated estimate based only on the figures you entered. It is not an appraisal, a fairness opinion, or a formal business valuation, and it is not tax, legal, or investment advice.
• The estimate is of business enterprise value. Real estate, if owned, is valued separately and is not included.
• Actual transaction proceeds depend on working capital, inventory, cash and debt at closing, deal structure (cash at close, seller financing, earn-outs), taxes, and buyer financing. These can move the amount an owner receives significantly.
• Figures have not been reviewed or verified. Buyers and lenders rely on tax returns and financial statements, which may produce different earnings than those entered here.
• It is not an offer to buy your business, a guarantee that a buyer will pay any amount, or a listing agreement.
• Where results are labelled "illustrative", the multiples have not been validated against published transaction data.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you are authorized to share the information you submit. Results depend entirely on the accuracy of your inputs. Consult your own accountant, attorney and tax advisor before making decisions.

No advisory relationship

Using this site does not create a brokerage, advisory or fiduciary relationship. Any engagement with Blue Hawk Advisors is made only by a separate written agreement.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Blue Hawk Advisors is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the preliminary estimate.
